Julia Weissheimer Werlang Gama, 27, was born and raised in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She is 5’9″ tall and she speaks Portuguese, Spanish, English, Mandarin and German.
From 2016 to 2019, Gama lived in China where she worked as a model and an actress. She played Miss Vi in “Delirius Insurgentes,” a thriller film screened at the Durban Film Festival in South Africa on July 18, 2017, and she starred with David Belle and Zhao Wenzhuo in the action film “Invisible Tattoo,” which was released in China in 2018.

Miss World 2014
On August 9, 2014, Gama represented Rio Grande do Sul at Miss Mundo Brasil 2014 and competed against 39 other candidates at Costão do Santinho Resort in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. She won the title.
On December 14, 2014, Gama represented Brazil at Miss World 2014 and competed against 120 other candidates at the ExCel London in London, England, United Kingdom. She finished in the Top 11.
Miss Universe 2020
Because of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), which started in March 2020, Miss Universe Brazil 2020 was cancelled. On August 20, 2020, Gama was officially appointed as Brazil’s Miss Universe 2020 candidate.
On May 16, 2021, Gama represented Brazil at Miss Universe 2020 and competed against 73 other candidates at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Broward County, Florida, United States. She was runner-up to Andrea Meza, 26, of Mexico.
