The United Kingdom and Germany were two of the 21 countries represented at “ONE: Reign of Valor,” the first ONE Championship event in 2019 held in Myanmar. The Singapore-based mixed martial arts promotion held it at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar on March 8, 2019.
“ONE: Reign of Valor” featured nine MMA matches and five ONE Super Series contests, which were kickboxing bouts. In the seventh bout of the evening, Liam Nolan, 21, of the U.K. faced Enriko “The Hurricane” Kehl, 27, of Germany.
Nolan and Kehl were the sole representatives of their respective countries at “ONE: Reign of Valor.” They both made their ONE Super Series debuts and their bout was the first match on the main card.
Blue Corner
Born in Wetzlar, Hesse, Germany on February 19, 1992, Kehl was 5 years old his father brought him to a kung fu school. He has been competing professionally since 2009.
Kehl went on to become a multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion. He is training out of Frankers Fight Team and is riding a two-bout winning streak.
Red Corner
Nolan started his martial arts training with taekwondo and Wing Chun and later shifted to Muay Thai. He was 13 years old when he started competing in local amateur competitions.
Eventually, Nolan won several titles including an IKF British Title and a Roar Combat League World Championship. He is training out of Knowlesy Academy under the tutelage of Christian Knowles.
Fight Result
Nolan and Kehl competed in a kickboxing contest in the featherweight division. Atsushi Onari served as the referee.
Onari put a stop to the contest after 2 minutes and 12 seconds in the second round. Kehl knocked out Nolan.
Winning at “ONE: Reign of Valor” improved Kehl’s professional kickboxing record to 47 wins, 14 losses and 2 draws. On the other hand, Nolan now holds a professional kickboxing and Muay Thai record of 16 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw.

Georgiy “Knight” Kichigin, 28, of Kazakhstan challenged reigning ONE Welterweight World Champion Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam, 28, of Sweden in the main event.
Phoe “Bushido” Thaw, 34, of Myanmar faced “The Iceman” Yohan Mulia Legowo, 38, of Indonesia in the co-main event. The Burmese contender knocked out his Indonesian opponent in the second round.
Georgiy “Knight” Kichigin, 28, of Kazakhstan challenged reigning ONE Welterweight World Champion Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam, 28, of Sweden in the main event. After two five-minute rounds, the Swedish defending champion won via technical knockout via retirement.
Australia, Cambodia, China, Finland, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco, Myanmar, the Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Sweden and Thailand were also represented at “ONE: Reign of Valor.” Check the complete results on Conan Daily.
