Thailand and Russia were among the 14 countries represented at “ONE: Conquest of Champions.” Taking place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on November 23, 2018, it is the fourth and last ONE Championship event in the Philippines in 2018.
“ONE: Conquest of Champions” featured eight mixed martial arts matches, two Muay Thai bouts and two kickboxing contests. In the ninth bout of the evening, Saemapetch Fairtex, 23, of Thailand faced Alaverdi “Dagger” Ramazanov, 23, of Russia.

Originally from Russia, Ramazanov is training out of Venum Training Camp in Pattaya, Thailand, where he is currently based. He is a three-time International Federation of Muaythai Amateur Champion.
“ONE: Conquest of Champions” marked Ramazanov’s third bout in ONE Super Series. He defeated Petchmorrakot Wor. Sangprapai, 24, of Thailand via unanimous decision at “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes” at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on October 6, 2018 and knocked out Andrew Miller, 28, of Scotland, United Kingdom at “ONE: Heart of the Lion” at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore on November 9, 2018.
Red Corner
Saemapetch was born in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He is representing the famed Fairtex Gym in Pattaya.
When Saemapetch made his ONE Super Series debut at “ONE: Battle for the Heavens” at the Guangzhou Tianhe Gymnasium in Guangzhou, China on July 7, 2018, he defeated Deividas “The Savage Sitsongpeenong” Danyla, 26, of Lithuania via unanimous decision. “ONE: Conquest of Champions” marked his second bout in the ONE Championship league.
Fight Result
Saemapetch and Ramazanov competed in a Muay Thai contest in the bantamweight division. After three three-minute rounds, the bout was left in the hands of the judges.
In the end, referee Atsushi Onari raised the hand of Saemapetch, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
“ONE: Conquest of Champions” Main Events
In the co-main event of the evening, Eduard “Landslide” Folayang, 34, of Baguio City, Philippines and Amir Khan, 23, of Singapore competed for the vacant ONE Lightweight World Championship. After five five-minute rounds, the Filipino contender won via unanimous decision.
In the main event, Mauro “The Hammer” Cerilli, 35, of Terracina, Latina, Italy challenged reigning ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera, 41, of Manila, Philippines. The Filipino defending champion knocked out his Italian challenger in the first round.
