Lithuania and Japan were among the 14 countries represented at “ONE: Conquest of Champions.” Taking place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines, it is the fourth and last ONE Championship event in the Philippines in 2018.
“ONE: Conquest of Champions” featured eight mixed martial arts matches, two Muay Thai bouts and two kickboxing contests. In the seventh bout of the evening, Deividas “The Savage Sitsongpeenong” Danyla, 26, of Lithuania faced Hiroaki “Kaibutsukun” Suzuki, 34, of Japan in a kickboxing contest in the bantamweight division under ONE Super Series.

Representing Bellwood Fight Team, Suzuki is a 2014 Shoot Boxing S-Cup winner. He stands 167 cm.
“ONE: Conquest of Champions” marked Suzuki’s ONE Super Series debut. Among the opponents the Japanese kickboxer previously defeated were Bovy Sor Udomson, 34, of Bangkok, Thailand and Mitsuhiro “The Endless Warrior” Ishida, 39, of Tokyo, Japan.

Danyla is training out of Sitsongpeenong Phuket Muay Thai Camp in Phuket, Thailand. He stands 170 cm.
The Lithuanian kickboxer is an International Muaythai Council (IMC) Muay Thai World Champion. When he made his ONE Super Series debut at “ONE: Battle for the Heavens” at the Guangzhou Tianhe Gymnasium in Guangzhou, China on July 7, 2018, he lost via unanimous decision to Saemapetch Fairtex, 23, of Thailand.
Fight Result
After three three-minute rounds, the kickboxing bout between Danyla and Suzuki was left in the hands of the judges. In the end, referee Atsushi Onari raised the hand of the Japanese kickboxer, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
This marked the second consecutive loss of Danyla in ONE Super Series. On the other hand, Suzuki improved his professional kickboxing record to 41 wins, 11 losses, 1 draw and 1 No Contest.
“ONE: Conquest of Champions” Main Events
In the co-main event of the evening, Eduard “Landslide” Folayang, 34, of Baguio City, Philippines and Amir Khan, 23, of Singapore competed for the vacant ONE Lightweight World Championship. After five five-minute rounds, the Filipino contender won via unanimous decision.
In the main event, Mauro “The Hammer” Cerilli, 35, of Terracina, Latina, Italy challenged reigning ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon “The Truth” Vera, 41, of Manila, Philippines. The Filipino defending champion knocked out his Italian challenger in the first round.
