Cameroon’s Alain Ngalani to fight Australia’s Andre Meunier in Bangkok, Thailand

ONE Championship has just announced the complete card for “ONE: Kingdom of Heroes,” which is set to ignite the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on October 6, 2018. It will feature eight ONE Super Series striking contests, which include one boxing bout, and six mixed martial arts matches.

In the main event, reigning World Boxing Council Super Flyweight World Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, 31, of Thailand will defend his title against Iran “MagnifiKO” Diaz, 28, of Mexico. In the co-main event, Stamp Fairtex, 20, of Thailand will challenge reigning ONE Kickboxing Atomweight World Champion “Killer Bee” Kai Ting Chuang, 23, of Taiwan.

One of the bouts on the ONE Super Series card is between Alain “The Panther” Ngalani, 43, of Cameroon and Andre “The Giant” Meunier of Australia. They will compete in a kickboxing bout in the heavyweight division.

Ngalani is a Cameroon-born martial artist who trains out of Impakt MMA in his home of Hong Kong. He has a terrifying combination of power and speed and is always looking to end matches early.

A four-time Muay Thai and kickboxing heavyweight world champion, Ngalani owns a kickboxing record of 25 wins, 8 losses, 1 draw and 2 No Contests, which includes 23 knockouts. After regularly competing in MMA, he made his ONE Super Series kickboxing in his last bout against Tarik Khbabez, 26, of Morocco and the Netherlands at “ONE: Pinnacle of Power” in Macau, China.

On the other hand, Meunier is a four-time Kickboxing World Champion who has competed all over Australia and Asia. Growing up in a rough neighborhood in Melbourne, he originally trained in martial arts to learn self-discipline.

A proven knockout artist, Meunier has faced some of the striking arena’s biggest names and has never backed down from a challenge. Training out of the Ultimate Kickboxing gym under James Roesler, Meunier also regularly travels to Thailand to sharpen his skills with former WMTA Light Heavyweight Champion Nick Kara.
