ONE Championship has just announced the main event for “ONE: Pinnacle for Power”. The mixed martial arts event is set for the Studio City Event Center in Macau, China on June 23, 2018.

Headlining “ONE: Pinnacle for Power” is reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan of China. The Chinese champ is making the first defense of her world title against Laura “La Gladiadora” Balin of Argentina.

“I am thrilled to announce the two title bouts that will headline ‘ONE: Pinnacle for Power’ on 23 June,” ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong stated. “China’s top female strawweight, ‘The Panda’ Xiong Jing Nan is back and ready to defend her ONE Women’s Strawweight World Championship for the very first time against newcomer Laura Balin.”

Sityodtong also officially announced the co-main event of “ONE: Pinnacle for Power.” Reigning ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes of Brazil will face ONE Interim Flyweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio of the Philippines in a flyweight title unification bout.

“Adriano Moraes and Geje Eustaquio, two respected world champions will face off against each other to unify the flyweight world titles,” the ONE Championship chairman and CEO said. “With both men looking to settle the score, only one will leave the undisputed ONE Flyweight World Champion.”

Xiong Jing Nan

Born in Weishan County, Jining, Shandong, China, Xiong joined the women’s boxing team of Shandong in 2006. She made her professional MMA debut on August 31, 2014 in Shangqiu, Henan, China.

“ONE: Pinnacle for Power” marks Xiong’s third bout in ONE Championship. When she made her promotional debut on December 9, 2017 at “ONE: Warriors of the World,” she knocked out April Osenio of the Philippines.

On January 20, 2018, Xiong became the first ever ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion. She knocked out Tiffany “No Chill” Teo of Singapore via punches at “ONE: Kings of Courage.”
