Juan Pablo Dinho, 25, of Vichadero, Rivera Department, Uruguay is Mr. Real Universe 2016. He is a native of Vichadero, which is also the birthplace of footballers Diego Casas and Jonathan Alvez.
Dinho is a personal trainer who works at a computer supplies company. On weekends, he works as a bartender.
The Mr. Real Universe 2016 coronation ceremony was supposed to be held in Miami, Florida, United States in October 2016 but it was cancelled due to Hurricane Matthew. On March 5, 2017, the ceremony took place in Lima, Peru with 11 candidates.
Representing Uruguay, Dinho won the crown and the Best Body award. Avery D. Wilson of the U.S. was Best in Fancy Suit while Raúl Antonio Gónzalez Barradas of Mexico was Best in National Costume.
